Flamma
Western life, as vibrant and stimulating as it may be, carries with it struggles and the weight of daily routines.
It cultivates a state of mind consumed by trivialities and rigidity, where tomorrow must be earned and the present moment is replaced by the act of acquisition. A delirious, endless race with a finish line tucked deep into the abyss. Such is life, we say.
And yet, questions arise… Why does life seem to simplify as we move closer to the tropics? And why, as we drift away from the end of summer, do we also drift away from the very essence of living?
There is no doubt—the benevolent sun is magical for humanity. Somehow, it draws us into a conscious existence where human connection becomes essential, blending compassion with joy.
FLAMMA is my passionate pilgrimage: witnessing life in its rawest forms—from Rio de Janeiro’s infinite euphoria and its hedonistic culture pushed to the edge of madness, to Miami’s pure embodiment of cosmopolitan allure, exotic excess, and shimmering decadence, to Cuba’s untamed soul and authentic people.
An irresistible lightness of being.
